What is Breathwork?
While we breathe thousands of times per day without thinking about it, how we breathe and where breath moves in our body has direct impacts on functional physiology and especially on the state of activation or relaxation, governed mainly by the nervous system. Our Breath impacts the way we live! Breathwork is one of the most powerful modalities for creating balance and harmony in all systems of the body. This modality helps restore equilibrium between the body, mind, emotions and Spirit. Our subconscious breathing pattern impacts the nervous system, which in turn impacts our endocrine system, changing our blood chemistry. Our breathing changes our blood chemistry, and our blood chemistry changes our organ function, focus, clarity and thought processes. Who knew breathing could be so complicated?!

Breakthrough Breathwork, where your breath can set you free!
What is Circular, Conscious Connected or Holotropic Breathwork?
Breathwork is an umbrella term describing a wide range of conscious breathing practices which promote awareness, self-regulation and profound personal transformation with the intention of enhancing inner peace, health and wellbeing. Circular or conscious connected breath in a is a technique that keeps oxygen flowing in and out of your body without interruption. This means that inhalations are immediately followed by exhalations without pause. When maintained for upwards of an hour, Conscious Connected Breathwork brings on non-ordinary states of consciousness and can lead to profound experiences of healing. Breathing, beyond the basic need for survival, acts as a bridge between spirit, mind, and body; between the conscious and the subconscious. “Breakthrough Breathwork” is one of the quickest ways to open the heart and energise the body. Many of our customers describe our signature Breathwork session as transformational and reflect on an experience filled with release in which they can let go of negative feelings and trauma.
What happens during a Breakthrough Breathwork session?
Breakthrough Breathwork combines the wisdom of ancient healing practices with modern techniques to unlock your potential. It’s a dynamic fusion that connects the elements of your being to achieve a state of harmony. You are guided through both slower-than-normal breathing and faster-than-normal normal breathing to open your heart and let your breath set you free. Breathwork is a powerful healing modality and although usually a safe, deeply relaxing and enjoyable process, it can result in certain physiological changes in the body that can produce a mild altered state of consciousness with physical and/or emotional release. It is each participant’s responsibility to listen to their body and look after their own physical, emotional and mental well-being. Be mindful of your own capabilities and act accordingly. Please be aware that sessions can produce tingling of the hands, face or feet, tensing or spasm of the body (tetany) and emotional experiences like crying, laughing or screaming with excessive energy moving through your body.
